Orayth Terms of Use
These Terms govern official Orayth software, models, research materials, development tools, and first-party project infrastructure.
1. Research status and output accuracy
Orayth is experimental AI research. Model output can be incomplete, misleading, incorrect, repetitive, unsafe, or unsuitable for a particular purpose.
Do not rely on Orayth as a substitute for qualified professional judgment in medical, legal, financial, safety-critical, or other high-stakes matters.
2. Training-data responsibility
You are responsible for ensuring that data you add, import, copy, transform, or train on may lawfully be used for that purpose and is handled consistently with privacy, confidentiality, copyright, contract, licence, and other applicable obligations.
The fact that material can be downloaded or viewed publicly does not by itself establish permission to use it for model training.
3. Models, checkpoints, and experiments
Training and evaluation can consume significant compute/storage and can overwrite or replace experimental artifacts if operated incorrectly. Preserve checkpoints and evidence that matter to you.
Research benchmarks, validation losses, parameter counts, development stages, and promotion decisions are project measurements, not guarantees of real-world capability.
4. Third-party services
Third-party websites, operating systems, app stores, streaming platforms, GitHub, hosting providers, hardware vendors, and other services are governed by their own terms, privacy policies, availability, and technical requirements. Their actions are not controlled by these Terms.
5. Open-source and third-party licences
Separate open-source and third-party licences remain in force. These Terms do not reduce rights granted by an applicable software licence. If these Terms conflict with a licence governing a particular component, the applicable licence controls for that component.
6. Official identity and branding
You may not falsely represent an unofficial, modified, or third-party build as an official NuttaButtaInAA, Vuttara, VuttaraEngine, or Orayth release, or create confusion about sponsorship, security review, compatibility, or source.
7. Disclaimer of warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the software, research materials, website, downloads, and related information are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of uninterrupted operation, compatibility, accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or freedom from defects.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits a warranty, remedy, or statutory right that cannot lawfully be excluded.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator and contributors are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, recordings, source code, revenue, reputation, opportunity, or service access arising from use of these projects.
You are responsible for maintaining appropriate backups and for reviewing important output before relying on it.
9. Changes, availability, and termination
Projects and features may be changed, suspended, replaced, or discontinued. Experimental and development builds may change without backward compatibility.
Access to official infrastructure may be restricted when reasonably necessary for security, abuse prevention, legal compliance, or protection of the projects and their users.
10. Governing law
To the extent permitted by applicable law, these Terms are governed by the laws of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada applicable there, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Mandatory consumer or statutory rights in another jurisdiction are not waived.
