Vuttara Code Privacy Policy
This policy applies to official Vuttara Code development and future distributed builds of the native Windows editor/IDE.
1. Files and workspaces
Vuttara Code reads and writes files or folders that you choose through the application. The current development source includes native Open File, Open Folder, Save, and Save As workflows.
Workspace and open-tab session information may be persisted locally in the Windows LocalAppData area so the application can restore project state.
2. Clipboard and editor input
Clipboard access occurs when you use copy/paste or related editor actions through the operating-system/GPUI clipboard bridge. Text entered into the editor is processed locally by the editor unless a future feature clearly states otherwise.
3. Networking and AI
The current editor source reviewed for this policy does not identify a Vuttara cloud account, remote source-code upload, or active network AI-assistance service.
AI assistance is a planned optional capability rather than a current requirement. Before any feature sends source code, prompts, project context, or other data to an AI/provider endpoint, the applicable policy and in-product disclosure should be updated.
4. Future terminal, Git, tasks, debugging, and extensions
Planned IDE features may run commands, communicate with Git remotes, start language servers/debug adapters, or execute extensions when the user configures or invokes them. Those tools may have their own data and network behavior.
This policy will need to evolve as those features become active in distributed builds.
5. Service providers and processing outside Canada
Some infrastructure or third-party providers may process standard request or service data outside Canada. Depending on the feature you use, providers may include Cloudflare, GitHub, Google, streaming platforms, hosting providers, browser vendors, or a provider you select yourself.

6. Retention and deletion
Information under our control is kept only as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, for security and troubleshooting, to maintain records, or as required or permitted by law. Local files and application data remain subject to the deletion controls of your device and the relevant application.
You may contact privacy@nuttabuttainaa.com to ask about access, correction, deletion, or withdrawal of consent where applicable. Legal exceptions may limit a request.
7. Security
Reasonable administrative and technical safeguards are used for information under our control. No device, network, encryption method, browser, or storage system is guaranteed to be perfectly secure.
If a privacy or security incident creates notification obligations under applicable law, required notices will be made.
8. Children and legal capacity
These projects are not designed to require children to provide personal information to create a Vuttara or Orayth account. Where a user is a minor, a parent or legal guardian should supervise use and any disclosure of personal information to third-party services.
9. Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated as the project changes. Material changes will be reflected by a revised effective date. Features that materially change collection, cloud processing, analytics, accounts, sync, or AI data transmission should receive an updated disclosure before or when they are introduced.
