VuttaraEngine Terms of Use
These Terms govern official VuttaraEngine distributions, development materials, and official project infrastructure. Separate source-code licences, when provided, govern copying, modification, and redistribution rights.
1. Experimental engine
VuttaraEngine is under active development. Web compatibility, security boundaries, JavaScript/Web API behavior, performance, cookie/cache semantics, and platform integration are incomplete and may change.
Do not represent a development milestone as standards-complete or security-complete.
2. Embedding responsibility
If you embed VuttaraEngine in another application, you are responsible for the application’s privacy disclosures, permission prompts, storage behavior, update path, branding, user support, and compliance with applicable law and third-party licences.
You are also responsible for evaluating whether the engine is suitable for your security and compatibility requirements.
3. Web content
VuttaraEngine does not control third-party web content. Websites, scripts, resources, and network services may be malicious, inaccurate, unavailable, or subject to their own terms.
4. Third-party services
Third-party websites, operating systems, app stores, streaming platforms, GitHub, hosting providers, hardware vendors, and other services are governed by their own terms, privacy policies, availability, and technical requirements. Their actions are not controlled by these Terms.
5. Open-source and third-party licences
Separate open-source and third-party licences remain in force. These Terms do not reduce rights granted by an applicable software licence. If these Terms conflict with a licence governing a particular component, the applicable licence controls for that component.
6. Official identity and branding
You may not falsely represent an unofficial, modified, or third-party build as an official NuttaButtaInAA, Vuttara, VuttaraEngine, or Orayth release, or create confusion about sponsorship, security review, compatibility, or source.
7. Disclaimer of warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the software, research materials, website, downloads, and related information are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of uninterrupted operation, compatibility, accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or freedom from defects.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits a warranty, remedy, or statutory right that cannot lawfully be excluded.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator and contributors are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, recordings, source code, revenue, reputation, opportunity, or service access arising from use of these projects.
You are responsible for maintaining appropriate backups and for reviewing important output before relying on it.
9. Changes, availability, and termination
Projects and features may be changed, suspended, replaced, or discontinued. Experimental and development builds may change without backward compatibility.
Access to official infrastructure may be restricted when reasonably necessary for security, abuse prevention, legal compliance, or protection of the projects and their users.
10. Governing law
To the extent permitted by applicable law, these Terms are governed by the laws of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada applicable there, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Mandatory consumer or statutory rights in another jurisdiction are not waived.
